At the Munich auto show, the German group decided to present the perfect electric vehicle for the B segment. A range of around 400 km, perfect for a whole range of people. Let's find out all the details together.

The German automotive group Volkswagen wants to make the mobility of the future accessible to all and to do this it has launched a strategy called Accelerate.

Within this strategy, the debut of a vehicle belonging to sector B is expected in 2025. For example, let's talk about the Ford Fiesta whose entry price should be between 20 and 25 thousand euros.

The study of this product will be presented at the Munich International Auto Show and is simply the parent of the car that we will see in 4 years.

Obviously we are talking about a fully electric car as Volkswagen is focusing a lot on this aspect.

The design is very essential and very pleasing to the eye. There are no parts that are too sporty or too preponderant in the silhouette of the car. The vehicle develops horizontally and is distinct between every single part of it. The roof is also removable and is made of fabric with air chambers to give the feeling of traveling without a canopy.

Many innovative technologies and many natural and recycled materials were used to make this vehicle. An eco-sustainable car does not simply mean declining its traction to the commitment of electricity, but also making the car completely eco-sustainable even in the materials.

This car is also careful with regard to tires, made with raw materials such as organic oil or natural rubber.

Of course, mirrors are now a distant memory and cameras and displays replace what was once the classic rear-view mirror.

To manage the car in everyday life, i.e. in the direction indicators but also the horn , everything will be managed via a touch panel that is present on the steering wheel. The total integration with the mobile phone then allows to have a very fluid control of the navigation functions.

We are talking about a car that is basically a city car, but also characterized by a strong desire to get out of the city.

In terms of spaciousness, luggage can reach up to 1285 liters of maximum capacity.

As for the propulsion, there should be a 234 horsepower electric motor that allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km per hour in just 6.9 seconds.

Thanks to a high-voltage battery, capable of entering 57 kWh, the autonomy should be about 400 km in the WLTP homologation cycle.

This car is certainly a cornerstone of the development of Volkswagen's Accelerate strategy. We are talking about a strategy that aims to create cars in every single segment, in order to make the economic transition possible and sustainable for what concerns the next years and the next decades.
