Finally, the world of sustainable mobility is moving towards new territories that are not only purely electric, but also linked to hydrogen. The French group has therefore decided to expand the era of ecological transition also thanks to this new interesting diet.

Many are focused on the development of electric cars, but not many car manufacturers are investing and researching into the hydrogen sector.

Citroen has recently developed the hydrogen version of its legendary and eternal Jumpy and now the delivery of the first vehicle to the Suez group has taken place.

We are therefore talking about a business sector that allows people who are interested in the development of commercial vehicles driven by hydrogen, to be able to support themselves in sustainable change.

Citroen therefore wants to put its hand to its centenary history of mobility and reinvents it with a new protagonist that does not pollute and honors the ordinary management of a commercial vehicle.

Thanks to the delivery of this vehicle to the Suez group, it will therefore be possible to test on a real scale and in everyday life a model that has been absolutely optimized over the years and now declined to life completely on hydrogen.

The Suez group is investing significant resources in the production of green hydrogen and this vehicle will be used within the Carcassonne site, in France, before it can be expanded in terms of number within the French territory and in Europe.

With this collaboration, therefore, Citroen evidently wants to emphasize the field of professionals and electrified commercial vehicles in order to adapt to the multiple uses of the latter.

We consider the mobility of tomorrow to be something very broad and with an endless spectrum. Recently, several car manufacturers are focusing on electric, but some are also pouring into the world of hydrogen with interesting innovations not only for combustion cell technology.

We saw a few days ago how Toyota wanted to invest money in research projects for hydrogen linked to the new technology. No more hydrogen in combustion cells but hydrogen directly poured into the engine in order to perfectly use the classic and old endothermic engines.

We will see how this product delivered to the French group will be able to integrate into real life. The autonomy of the Jumpy is certainly interesting and well over 300 km.

In this way, this product will be able to perfectly integrate into everyday life and hopefully can be used as a reliable tester for the refinements of the next Citroen hydrogen vehicles.
