Everyone was waiting for it and the expectations did not disappoint. Over 500 km of autonomy and a power of almost 600 horsepower.

One of the most iconic brands of the twentieth century, and always synonymous with unbridled luxury, has also been involved in the ecological transition. The first fully electric car of the RollsRoyce brand was presented a few hours ago.

The arrival falls exactly after 120 years that the founder had assumed he wanted to make a fully electric car. No information has been released about the price yet, but it will certainly rank below the flagship Phantom, with its € 460,000.

We will have to wait a few more months, as the release is scheduled for next year.

It is a very large and impressive car, with a length of 545 cm and a width of 208 cm. The wheelbase is 321 cm, while the weight almost reaches 3000 kg.

A car therefore huge, and wide in every single aspect. Technically it is a Coupé, which can be driven and peacefully enjoyed by 2 people, but which can accommodate two more.

The aesthetic novelties are interesting, and precisely in the front lights where they have been declined on two lines of design. Making them almost minimal and inserted inside the entire front grille, they almost hide.

On closer inspection, these headlights can be traced back to the new BMW i7 (the electric flagship), as the Rolls-Royce is controlled by the German manufacturer BMW.

The opening of the doors should be made "against the wind" and allow easy entry to a truly exclusive world.

Next to the large access doors, we find 23-inch wheels, of a size never so large on a car from the English house.

To create this maxi car, an adapted aluminum chassis was created and derived from the other Rolls-Royces.

The modification was necessary due to the use of electric batteries of important dimensions, on which, however, no information has been released.

This new frame allows to have a greater rigidity of about 30%, compared to any other Rolls-Royce. Suffice it to say, however, that the accumulator has a total weight of 700 kg and allows for a range of over 500 km.

In terms of power, we have a peak of 577 horsepower and 900 Newton meter torque. Important values, but which are used to move almost 3000 kg.

In this way it is possible to shoot from 0 to 100 km per hour, in just 4.4 seconds.

Obviously the comfort on board is really at the top. It almost feels like traveling on a flying carpet, thanks to the sophisticated suspensions, which allow you to avoid any form of annoyance.

It starts from simple rolling on uneven surfaces, to much more complex situations. The four-wheel steering also completes a decidedly unique reality for this maxi Coupé.

Climbing aboard this car, you notice how the interior is quite similar to other Rolls-Royces, but also with a large digital display on the passenger side.

Rolls-Royce fans will be delighted to know how the famous LED-studded sky that simulates the starry sky now extends to the doors as well. At least a special and unique way to travel in an exclusive way on this Maxi Coupé.

In terms of colors, it was presented with this yellow color, which almost symbolizes the golden age and the rebirth of the power of sustainable mobility.

120 years ago the founder of Rolls-Royce had dreamed and hypothesized to create an electric car. Electric cars were a reality at the beginning of the 1900s, but were supplanted by the petrol and diesel market, precisely because of a question of energy efficiency and autonomy.

Now that everything seems to have changed, and with a progressive development in the coming years of electric mobility, here is finally a completely electric extra-luxury car.

We will see what the reactions of the market will be, but surely the lucky owners of this car will be definitely lulled by 6-star comfort.
