The Spanish carmaker has published 7 tips for tackling every single corner in the best possible way. Let's find out together.

The real challenge for every driver is to travel the road in an optimal way, both in the straights but also in the curves.

Very often motorists are in difficulty within certain curves because they did not expect such a continuation of the road. Seat wanted to make some small tips to better tackle every single corner.

The first is first of all to observe the road and anticipate the path. In order to avoid unexpected twists, you must always know what the road will be like and therefore bring the eye to a good distance.

Obviously we must also try to respect speed limits and observe if there are any signs that suggest a slowdown or a decrease in speed. Let's think for example of some highway signs or those placed near important curves.

Before entering the curve we obviously have to downshift or brake. By the time the wheels are still straight and we have not yet defined the start of the curve, the car is in a situation of maximum stability. So let's try to downshift and brake before entering the corners in order to have maximum stability of the car.

Furthermore, depending on the conditions of the road surface and the weather, we should face the curves in different ways. In fact, if we have a day of full sun, we will face the curve in a different way in the event that there are ice or rain formations. So a car with good traction control and headlights that illuminate the road excellently is something highly recommended.

When we are inside the corner we try to make the most of the space in the lane, staying outside the corner. We will have a wider angle to move and also to observe what is in front of us. In fact, if we cut the curve, we will face a probable collision in the event of a left curve or we could face accidents with poles or even motorcyclists who ride the curve a few meters before us.

Obviously the hands must be firmly placed on the steering wheel at 10:10. In this way we will be able to act very quickly in the eventual need to correct the trajectory. We try not to make sudden movements and keep a constant speed so as not to stress the traction control.

Once we have passed the curve, we can accelerate on the way out. As soon as the wheels are straight again, a good acceleration will allow us to exit the curve in a stable way and without skidding.

Seat also suggests a road of 40 km for the Italian territory, full of curves but to be carried out in a very peaceful and quiet way. This is the winding path that separates Vietri from Positano within the Amalfi Coast. A real show for lovers of four-wheelers to do alone or in company.
