Starting from midnight on 15 November 2025, it will be mandatory to have snow chains or winter tires on board on the SS430 of the Garigliano Valley. This measure will remain in force until 11:59 pm on April 15, 2026.

The stretch affected by this ordinance goes from the Taverna Crossroads to the Selvotta Crossroads, in the direction of the SS6 Casilina. Motorists traveling on this road must ensure they comply with these provisions to ensure road safety, especially in adverse weather conditions.

It is therefore essential to prepare your vehicle for the winter, checking that you have chains on board or that you are equipped with suitable winter tyres.
