On the A8 Milan-Varese, there are important works in progress which have made it necessary to close the connection near the A8/A9 intersection. This closure concerns the A8/A9 Lainate-Chiasso junction and will be active until 05:00 on 16 December 2025.

Those coming from Varese and wishing to head towards Como must pay attention, as it will not be possible to directly access the A8/A9 connection.

Here are some useful indications:

• Recommended entrance towards Como: use the Origgio exit on the A9 Lainate-Chiasso.

• Recommended exit for those coming from Varese: use the Castellanza exit.

All motorists are advised to respect the signs and pay particular attention to work in progress, to ensure their own safety and that of other road users.
