The completely renewed new model of the Compass was presented this morning. All features and contents have been renewed. style, technology, safety, sustainability and functionality have been totally renewed.

The Compass world is an extraordinary world for the Jeep brand. About 40% of Jeep sales in Europe are Compass. One in four, by the way, has the new plug-in hybrid engine inside the bonnet.

The processor to manage the system is 5 times faster, together with an Android operating system with wireless integration for Apple carplay and Android auto smartphones. In terms of navigation, TomTom will guide us to reach the destination as quickly as possible.

For anyone looking for a car with a high capacity of small compartments, Jeep has made a further improvement.

As for the autonomous driving systems and driving assistants, Jeep has steadily reached level 2. In fact, we find the Traffic Sign Recognition that allows you to read and interpret road signs, the Intelligent Speed Assist that allows you to maintain the vehicle within the indicated speed limits, the system that warns the driver of drowsiness, automatic emergency braking with the recognition of pedestrians and cyclists. Innovative aspect is the Highway assist, which is a system that combines Adaptive Cruise Control with Hill Lane Centering.

There will be four types of equipment provided inside the Jeep Compass. We have in fact Longitude, Limited, S, Trailhawk .

In terms of motorization, we have 5 possible combinations. In fact, we have petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid with three types of gearboxes: six-speed manual, DDCT dual-clutch automatic and six-speed automatic.

The price list starts at around € 29,850 for versions equipped with a 1,300 cc 130 hp petrol engine in the Longitude trim level. The top of the range is the Trailhawk and S 4xe whose price for the plugin hybrid version is € 49200.
