There are important changes to the road system on the A8 Milan-Varese, in particular near Busto Arsizio. The entrance to Busto Arsizio is closed to traffic until 05:00 on 13 May 2026 in both directions due to works in progress.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution and consider the following alternative entrances:

  • To head towards Milan: use the Legnano entrance.

  • To head towards Varese: use the Gallarate entrance.

All drivers are invited to plan their routes taking these closures into account and to respect the road signs and directions provided, to ensure their safety and that of other road users.
