With the arrival of the new year, Abarth also wanted to renew the range, with the new 595, Turismo, Competizione and Esseesse.

If 2020 was characterized by a series of successes for the # Abarth brand, such as the inclusion in the Guinness World Record in December, numerous innovations were recorded within the set-ups in 2020. noted with pleasure how the 595 Monster Energy Yamaha and the 595 Scorpioneor o were presented.

However, the Abarth scorpion has not stopped in terms of innovation and four new versions of the renewed range are now ready to hit the road.

The # 595 is the entry-level version, so to speak, within the Abarth world. In fact, it offers a whole series of equipment necessary to allow the fun and driving pleasure typical of the Brand. The Sport Mode selector has been renamed Scorpion Mode , precisely to underline how strategic the presence of the scorpion is in the Abarth mood. In fact, if this button is pressed, you can directly intervene on the delivery of maximum torque, on the calibration of the power steering and on the response of the engine to the accelerator pedal, obtaining even more important ideas. Safety is clearly at the forefront of sports cars, which is why we find 284mm ventilated front discs and 240mm rear discs.

Going up a moment of fittings, we find the Turismo and the Competizione which have also been completely renovated. Style and technique have in fact been revised by Abarth engineers. As the names convey very well, the Turismo is more a concept of a car linked to comfort and driving pleasure within Italian gran turismo, while the Competizione is clearly aimed at lovers of performance and sportiness in absolute terms. The first has a renewed interior that has been redefined in detail, such as the leather seats. New finishes and the possibility of choosing new colors for tourism. The Competizione version also has a renewed aesthetic spirit with a new Rally Blue color and new 17-inch alloy wheels.

For those who are never satisfied, there is also the 595 Esseesse version, where the titanium tailpipes for the Akrapovic exhaust system have been renewed.

All the models that have just been illustrated obviously have LED daytime running lights as standard, while the xenon headlights remain on request. The steering wheel is clearly with a flat bottom, and has been designed to make driving even more enjoyable and sprinting.

And the engine? Clearly it is the 1.4 t-jet , which is the same one that is mounted inside the formula 4 of the Italian and German championships. Obviously we have different power levels that are inserted at the level of fittings . The entry-level 595 in fact has 145 horses which become 165 in the Turismo version and 180 in the Competizione version and the top of Esseesse sportiness. On these last two versions, we find the Garrett GT 1446 turbine, in addition of course to the mechanical self-locking differential that improves traction in difficult grip conditions and uneven surfaces.

And finally, infotainment, which is fundamental in today's world. There is obviously the Uconnect system with 7-inch radio which allows the use of a DAB digital radio and Apple carplay preparation and Android auto compatibility. For radio and music lovers there is obviously a powerful sound system made by BeatsAudioTM, with a total power of 480 watts and an 8-channel digital amplifier.
