The Dacia midsize sedan won an important international award from Argus as "Car of the Year" and "City Car of the Year".

Very often it can be thought that the most prestigious cars are the ones that most collect prizes. The most beautiful car of the year, the fastest coupe of the year, the best-selling City Car of the year are all prizes that may be more or less real, but which highlight how the automotive world is characterized by an infinite number of prizes and awards. Very often the most prestigious cars in terms of brands are those who win the most prestigious awards such as Car of the Year 2021, for example. Sometimes, however, small car manufacturers still manage to get small moments of satisfaction even for their cars.

The case in point is the new Dacia Sandero, which was elected "Car of the Year" by Argus and also "City Car of the Year".

For all those who do not know Argus, we are talking about the French car magazine, which has awarded the “Car of the Year” award for all categories for 2021.

To defeat all the other contenders, several analyzes were required in order to make Dacia triumph over the 32 models in the race . The jury was made up of a number of automotive journalists from various French media, such as Le Monde, L'Equipe, La Tribune and other French newspapers.

The new Dacia Sandero has also received attention from consumers. Since its launch in 2008, 2.3 million units have been sold, of which about a third in France . It is a really interesting fact, which highlights how people in general are not often attracted to the Brand, but more than anything else to the usefulness of the car. Dacia, which is part of the Renault group, is therefore not a much inferior brand to all the others. The quality of the materials is very good, and with a competitive price it is obvious that it has received great attention from consumers.

Within our country, among other things, the Dacia Sandero is the best-selling foreign car to individuals with about 26,000 units and has conquered the podium of the B segment with a market share of 5.8% .

Among other things, the new line is decidedly more incisive and contemporary , even if it is still faithful to the identity of the Dacia house. The new design and new equipment, combined with the possibility of having LPG engines, have made this car the real success.

Using a quite adaptable platform like the CMF-B, Dacia has managed to optimize costs and position the car at a truly attractive price.

So congratulations to the Dacia designers who managed to outline a decidedly pleasant line, which, even if it is not a leader in innovation, still manages to win over thousands of people in Italy and throughout Europe.

An excellent automotive product, in terms of quality / price ratio that can absolutely obtain as much market share within the B segment, which is now truly competitive.
