The 100% electric Crossover has been awarded the prestigious Car of the Year 2022 award within Germany thanks to its charging speed and its long range.

With the gradual change of the international automotive fleet towards an ecological transition, international awards are also gaining ground within the German territory.

As every year, the cars that best represent the historical moment are awarded and in Germany now the time has come for a 100% electric car.

We are talking about the Kia # EV6, a car that probably not everyone will know but it is a really interesting crossover.

Thanks to its 528 km of autonomy with a single charge, it can boast one of the greatest ranges of all electric cars. It has also managed to overtake prestigious rivals such as the Hyundai ioniq 5 or Mercedes-Benz C-class or Volkswagen or Audi or Skoda cars.

The jury was made up of 20 journalists specialized in the automotive world who decided to award the best representative car of the current moment with a price between 25 and 50 thousand euros.

This car is not the first electric car ever but it is Kia's first battery electric car, built through the exclusive E-GMP platform. Thanks to the application of this platform and the development of all the technologies on board, this car can therefore boast a truly important range that far exceeds the ranges of even more noble cars.

The space on board is certainly not scarce and indeed it is one of the leaders in the sector. Thanks to battery engineering and optimal positioning, it is possible to boast on-board comfort and spaciousness at the top of the market.

Kia technology has also managed to achieve an ultra-fast 800 V recharge that allows the car to be recharged from 10% up to 80% in just 18 minutes. For lovers of all-wheel drive, this car is also available in a 4x4 version, or is pushed by a traditional rear-wheel drive.

Kia EV6 has a 77 kWh battery pack which is combined with a 229 horsepower electric motor. As for the version with all-wheel drive, it can also boast 325 horsepower.

For lovers of sportsmanship, a much more extreme version with true sports performance will probably arrive in the coming months. In fact, it should arrive towards the end of 2022 and will be characterized by even powerful engines up to 585 horsepower with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km per hour of just 3.5 seconds.

EV6 is therefore a car that lends itself completely to the management of an ordinary family and that also allows you to make some Sunday trips without having the anxiety of necessarily having to find the column otherwise you will remain on foot.

As we have seen, the world of sustainable mobility is changing and it is also denoted by these cars that are awarded as the best cars in individual countries. It is emblematic that a historic country like Germany has rewarded a four-wheeled vehicle powered simply by electricity.

This award can therefore also be seen as a message to the powerful of the world in order to facilitate the ecological transition towards sustainable mobility as quickly as possible.
