The oriental automotive company presented the plan of 23 new electrified models by 2030.

Nissan has finally unveiled one of the most ambitious plans ever in the history of the automotive sector. A plan with over 20 electrified models that will see the light within 8 years.

All this will have to be concrete and actualized within eight years or by the dawn of 2030. The objective is clearly to improve the mobility of the future and respond from today with sustainable choices thanks to the electrification of the cars.

In fact, Nissan aims to increase its strategic value in the Automotive sector with exciting products connected with the surrounding world.

Technically, carbon neutrality will arrive by 2050 but right now Nissan has wanted to take the first steps to achieve this. 23 models, 15 of which are completely electric, which will therefore see their concrete realization by 2030.

The secondary goal is also to have 50% of Nissan and Infiniti electrified globally by 2030.

The automaker plans to make cobalt-free batteries by 2028 in order to reduce the cost by more than 60%. Also for the same year, vehicles with in-house solid-state batteries will be launched. In this way, Nissan expects to be totally independent from other manufacturers of electric batteries and will also be able to better manage its costs.

According to plans and facts, the cost of a battery will decrease from about $ 75 per kWh to $ 65.

This is how Nissan is preparing to create something important. No detailed information has been released on what concerns the models, if not some futuristic rendering of various types of cars.

We see a compact sedan, up to the most futuristic SUVs that integrate perfectly with the environment. Nissan is trying to minimize the design and make it as perfect as possible for an integrated world view of the car.

Clearly 2028 is not around the corner for us, but it is instead for what concerns the automotive world. Making a car is certainly not a walk in the park and in consideration of the fact that it must be tested and checked in every single aspect.

To see the debut of 23 cars within eight years means foreseeing the debut of four cars every year.

In view of this Nissan is preparing for one of the most revolutionary plans it has ever advocated astride sustainable mobility.
