The German company has decided to renew its SUVs, which have achieved enormous success over the past few years.

As all automotive enthusiasts know, car manufacturers have the intention of constantly updating their most successful models.

The goal is to transform more and more people from interested people to potential customers, with products that are always fashionable.

The BMW X5 and X6 SUVs have found enormous success over the last few years.

BMW X5 was one of the first SUV cars, which managed to establish itself within this sector. We can say that it is a real trailblazer SUV, which then kicked off the whole mobility revolution. The X6 was also an interesting novelty for the automotive market, as it was one of the first coupe SUVs on the road.

With the arrival of the new year, there is an external and internal restyling and the introduction of all-electric engines across the entire range.

So many new features already starting from the outside.

The front end of the BMW X5 is completely renewed, with all elements having been redesigned. The result is greater harmony, as well as elegance thanks to the perfect combination of the headlight mask and fascia.

Going into detail, the headlights are just over 3 cm thinner. The Full LED headlights are standard, but they can be chosen as an option in Matrix LED mode, for truly excellent road control.

Optional kidney grille, iconic of the BMW Brand, with lighting system.

As for the BMW X6 instead, or the SUV Coupé of the German company, it presents the same stylistic updates, but now it is also possible to have the M Sport package as standard.

In the Premium versions, it will also be possible to have an M Sport Pro package, with the possibility of having exclusive body colors in green and blue.

Climbing aboard the car, you are immediately greeted by the beautiful double curved screen, consisting of a 12-inch panel behind the steering wheel and a 14-inch one in the central part.

Gone are many physical keys, replaced by on-screen digital controls.

In this way, the sensation will be totally immersive and as fluid and digital as possible. Still on board the car, we note how the instrument panel has a truly excellent quality leatherette upholstery, with a curved finish in fine wood.

Another important new feature is the ambient light bar, with integrated LED backlighting.

The seats are characterized by excellent comfort. The comfort seats can also be selected as an alternative to the standard sports seats with leatherette surface. Optional you can have leather upholstery, as well as the active ventilation of the seats and the function of the massage.

The list of options is not lacking, and it is really very long. We want to point out the Comfort package, with door panel heating and the thermo function for the cup holders.

For lovers of traveling under the stars, the panoramic glass sunroof illuminated by LED units cannot be missing.

As for the engines, we have both petrol and diesel in 6 and 8 cylinder versions. All engines are now mated to a new eight-speed automatic gearbox, clearly complete with steering wheel paddles and BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system.

Let's not forget that all engines are now 48-volt Mild Hybrids, i.e. with an additional power of up to 9 horsepower.

It is interesting to report the debut of the BMW X5 plugin xDrive 50e. Under the bonnet we have a 3000 cubic cm in-line six-cylinder with an integrated electric motor and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

In total, we have an overall power output of 490 horsepower, an increase of 96 horsepower over the outgoing model, and a combined torque of 700Nm. The power output of the petrol engine (to be precise and detailed) is 313 horsepower, an increase of 27 HP more than the previous version. In this way, the shot from 0 to 100 km/h is approximately 4.8 seconds.

In the plug-in version, in 100% electric mode, it can even travel 100 km.

Of course, there is no shortage of sporty top models! We have a beautiful M60i equipped with a 4.4 V8 engine and double turbocharger associated with a 48 V Mild Hybrid mode. The maximum power is 530 horsepower and 750 Newton meters of torque, with an acceleration time of 4.3 seconds.

So hyper-performance cars, but also very comfortable cars thanks to the adaptive suspensions, present on all the variants of the two cars.

Two cars therefore that have completely revolutionized the automotive world, and still want to place themselves in an excellent situation as regards 2023.

Staying up to date within the automotive world, and above all within the world of SUVs, is decidedly not easy. The BMW designers have once again managed to create two sensational cars that appeal to a public that is similar but different from each other.

BMW X6 lovers are those who love comfortable SUVs, but at the same time love sportiness and arched lines at the rear. The rear window that drops very quickly gives the car momentum and dynamism.

Those who buy the BMW X5, on the other hand, are typically people who love comfort and also need to have a significant volume inside the boot. The BMW X5 is therefore perfect for all those families who want comfort, driving luxury and a feeling of comfort in every seat.

No pricing information has been released, but we expect it to be in line with recently released models, with a slight tweak to the top mostly driven by inflation pricing adjustments.
